How do I access names for my marketing database?
Marketing & Advertising mentor Lisa H. Buksbaum responds:
Try to find a mentor or colleague in a comparable business to yours and see if you can share lists. All industries have directories of lists. Contact the Small Business Association (SBA) or a business library to peruse the list of directories before paying a consultant. If you draw a blank, have a free consultation with a consultant who has relevant experience and ask which directories or lists they would recommend you purchase and estimated fees while you are also learning about the other services they provide.
