The Starting Lineup For The Games
Of the 35 to 40 licensees to be selected for the 1984 Olympic Games, only 11 have been announced thus far. Negotiations with hundreds of other companies are in progress, but, according to the Los Angeles Olympic Organizing Committee, the selection process is far from over -- licenses may continue to be awarded through 1983. The eight licensees not mentioned in the accompanying article include:
ABC Publishing, New York (The Official Olympic Guide to Los Angeles)
ACMI International, Greenwich, Conn. (lap blankets)
Cervantes Neckwear Inc., Los Angeles (ties and scarves)
Easton Aluminum, Van Nuys, Calif. (aluminum arrow shafts)
Knickerbocker Toy Co., Plainfield, N.J. (stuffed animals)
Los Angeles Button Co., Los Angeles (celluloid buttons)
Moochie's, Los Angeles (stadium seat cushions)
Pageantry World Inc., Pasadena, Calif. (flags and banners)
