All Work And No Play
Perhaps there is a correlation between the title of your article and the reason many entrepreneurs either take or don't take vacations ("Power Trips," April). The key element is "power." Power can be equated with "hard," as in work hard, play hard. Anything less just isn't worth it. If the entrepreneur can't take a vacation that meets or exceeds the demands that the workplace puts on him or her, why take the vacation? Unfortunately, hard play, as your article points out, is rather expensive, thus the alternative of no vacation.
