Bad Batch
My office is located in the City Hall area of lower Manhattan and (coincidentally and conventiently) within walking distance of two Mrs. Fields Cookies stores. I find it paradoxical that over the past year whenever I've gone in to buy cookies, both stores are inevitably out of all, most, or some of the varieties, especially the chocolate chip cookies, which I thought were the mainstay of the business.
Since I have so often been unable to obtain the cookies I want, I have simply stopped going to Mrs. Fields. I get my cookies elsewhere.
It's beyond my comprehension how a business whose sole product is cookies can continually have two outlets out of stock of the only product it sells. Perhaps less time on the computer and more time in the oven is a better recipe.
