Is Jay Finegan afraid of competing with the Japanese automakers? Small business is not, and the last thing we need is domestic content legislation. Why does Finegan go after President Reagan? Reagan whipped inflation, controlled unemployment, and provided for the longest postwar recovery EVER! That may not count much to Finegan, but to the millions of people who found jobs, it counts plenty. Sure, some people went to work for Honda, Toyota, or other Japanese companies. They count themselves lucky. Has Finegan ever spent time in an unemployment line? If not, he should try it out.
