New company invents a machine that dispenses airline tickets at convenient locations.

A harassed travel agent whose clients had lots of last-minute travel changes developed the idea: dispensing machines for instant delivery of tickets and itineraries. JafMar, in Santa Ana, Calif., now sells and leases airline ticket machines to travel agents to install in hotels, airports, and offices of corporate clients. CEO JoAnne Stewart, whose grandfather founded Ramada Inns, predicts the terminal will not only make life easier for businesspeople, but will also help agents expand operations without adding offices.
