Lightwave Technologies, in Prairie View, Ill., bears tidings of great joy for Nintendo-weary parents. The computer-peripheral company is marketing a Nintendo silencer, called GameSounds, which eliminates the electronic thundering that one family therapist says causes tension in as many as 30 million households. Sold through retail chains, the product is FCC-approved and patent pending. CEO Judi Jacobsen expects sales will hit $2 million this year.
