Finally, someone has gathered in one place information about all the books, tapes, and newsletters on international business. Well, maybe not all, but Owens's Global Information Catalog does list more than 2,000 titles from some 100 publishers. You'll find information on sources of country reports and credit reports as well as on finance guides and marketing tomes. From Australia to Zimbabwe, Owens covers the globe. Who sells Canadian names on compact disc? A Vietnamese yellow pages? The prices of the resources range wildly, from about $5 to $5,000. A report, "Effective Marketing for Japan," is $595, while a general book, Selling to Japan, is $30. If you can't find what you want, Owens's customer-service department will do a search for you.
