Resource: The Covey Connection
Some information concerning the nationwide seminars based on the book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
Last year 250,000 people, many from small operations, attended seminars based on The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and other Stephen Covey books. You can too -- or you can create your own sales-training program from the books and tapes. Here's a rundown of the most popular Covey courses:
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, a three-day seminar that costs $1,495 per person, focuses on interpersonal skills such as empathetic listening. Every 2.4 days, or at least 150 times a year, there's a Seven Habits class going on somewhere. First Things First, a one-day course that costs $295 a head, focuses on time management and personal productivity. Covey Leadership Week, a weeklong Covey fest priced at $3,900 a person, stresses organizational and managerial skills.
The Seven Habits and First Things First seminars are held at Covey headquarters, in Provo, Utah; at 62 other training centers across the country; and by request at customers' sites. Covey Leadership Week sessions are held at several Utah resorts and at customers' sites only. For more information, call 800-255-0777.
