Active Voice Unveils New Unified Communications Tool
Active Voice, a NEC company, has launched the latest version of its unified messaging solution designed and priced for small and midsize businesses and the mobile workforce. Repartee version 10.0 is a PC-based user-friendly software appliance that leverages Internet capacities and mobile devices.
New features include access to voicemail via RSS feeds, retrieval of voicemail, fax and e-mail from any communication device using Microsoft Outlook, iGoogle or Apple iTunes, ActiveSuite Client Applications, and smartphone and PDA support. In addition, notification features alert employees to important messages.
"Many published articles about UC technology stress the absolute need for user-friendly capabilities because there are currently no UC providers that offer simplicity with advanced functionality," Eyal Inbar, general manager of marketing at Active Voice, said in a statement. "We do that with this new version of Repartee for SMBs."
