Intuit Launches Latest Version of QuickBooks Retail Management Software
Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU) has released the latest version of its QuickBooks Point of Sale retail management software, designed to replace the traditional cash register. The software provides small retailers with features that help them improve customer service and inventory management.
The upgraded software allows retailers to offer customized incentives to their customers by automatically tracking customer purchase history. The new shipping manager facilitates the processing and tracking of shipments, the scheduling of pickups, and provides shipping cost estimates. New inventory management features include merchandise pictures, detailed descriptions, multi-store exchange and price manager.
Now better integrated with QuickBooks financial software, Point of Sale enables retailers to more efficiently connect front-office tasks, such as credit card transactions and employee time cards, with back-office business finances. QuickBooks Point of Sale 7.0 is available starting at $799.99.
