BitDefender Internet Security 2008 protects against viruses, spyware, spam, rootkits, scams, phishing attempts, intruders and objectionable Web content. Additional features include improved Internet application control, adaptive filtering, heuristic Web filtering, and a set-up wizard for simplified installation. The Internet Security suite also features offline backup and system maintenance tools, 64b support for Windows XP and Windows Vista, and improved modules.

BitDefender Antivirus 2008 boasts heuristics-based technology to proactively monitor and detect malicious viruses, spyware, spam and phishing activity.
