NextPhase to Resell Hughes Broadband Satellite
The move boosts services for small businesses within the company's national network.
NextPhase Wireless (OTC:NPHS) has signed a reseller agreement with broadband satellite services provider Hughes Network Systems to offer a range of HughesNet satellite broadband solutions to small businesses nationwide.
NextPhase will target small business customers within its national network that could not previously use the company's own services due to line of sight or interference issues, as well as customers operating outside NextPhase's existing footprint where market demand does not justify the expense of deploying an entire WiMAX-ready network.
"With HughesNet small business plans starting at an affordable $99 per month and providing connectivity speeds of up to 2Mbps, we believe that we can capitalize on prevailing opportunities to expand our current market reach, grow our customer base in the markets we presently serve, promote greater awareness of the NextPhase brand, and leverage new customer relationships to market our full portfolio of integrated Internet, voice, video and managed services," Robert Ford, CEO of NextPhase, said in a statement.
