Allworx Unveils New IP Phones
Programmable keys offer common calling functions, including conferencing and transfers.
Allworx, a wholly owned subsidiary of PAETEC Holding (NASDAQ:PAET), has introduced a new series of high-end IP phones boasting a broader set of features, intuitive design and high-fidelity audio without the need for extended protocols. The Allworx 9200 phone series, including the top-of-the-line 9212 and the more affordable 9202, are designed and priced for the small and midsize business sector.
Common calling functions, including checking messages, conferencing functions and moving calls using hold, redial and transfer, are now accessible via one-touch programmable keys. The 9212 supports up to 12 call appearances and the 9202 supports up to two. Both phones can distinguish different calls by their unique ring tones, and can monitor multiple voicemail boxes.
The company has also announced an agreement with business telephony solutions provider Jenne to offer its products to Authorized Allworx Resellers. The deal allows Jenne and its network of resellers to market a variety of Allworx products, including the new phones.
