ScriptLogic Beefs Up Help Desk Offering
The new solution offers prevention and management of desktop issues.
ScriptLogic, a systems lifecycle management solutions provider for Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows-based networks and a division of Quest Software (NASDAQ:QSFT), has introduced a new bundled solution for comprehensive prevention and management of desktop issues.
The ScriptLogic Incident Management Solution includes Desktop Authority Password Self Service, which allows end users to solve their own password problems, such as reset requests, reducing the number of calls to the help desk; BridgeTrak 7.0 to seamlessly track trouble tickets, capturing, prioritizing and processing them in order to reduce the lifecycle of a desktop issue; and Desktop Authority Remote Management Gateway to allow IT administrators to respond to these issues remotely.
"IT administrators, especially those in small-to-medium sized businesses, note that a significant amount of their day is spent correcting end user IT problems," Nick Cavalancia, vice president of Windows management at ScriptLogic, said in a statement.
