The deal includes LifeBook convertible tablets and other small business-focused notebooks.
Fujitsu Computer Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Fujitsu, has enlisted Tech Data (NASDAQ:TECD) to distribute the Fujitsu line of mobile PCs, including the LifeBook convertible tablets and small business-focused notebooks.
In addition to the LifeBook series, Tech Data’s broad network of resellers will now market Fujitsu’s ultra-mobile Stylistic Tablet PCs; components, including hard drives, memory, biometric and physical security devices, remote controls and replacement styluses; accessories, such as batteries, power adapters, docking stations, bags, protective cases and screen protectors; comprehensive service and extended warranty agreements; and custom configurations via its Integration Services.
"The Fujitsu mobile solutions will be supported by our Client Computing team, which helps resellers deliver the latest in mobile computing solutions their end-user customers need to access the IT tools and applications necessary to operate more efficiently and profitably," Leslie Malone, Tech Data's director of client systems product marketing, said in a statement.
