Data center networking solutions provider,Brocade (NASDAQ:BRCD), has unveiled a new Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP) extension solution for entry-level remote data replication. The Brocade 7500E SAN Router is specifically designed and priced for smaller businesses and remote offices.

The Brocade 7500E is compatible with the entire portfolio of Brocade data center infrastructure products.
"Business Continuity and data protection are critical to organizations of all sizes around the world, challenging many IT managers with limited staff and budget resources to deliver data replication for disaster recovery," Mario Blandini, director of product marketing for the Brocade data center infrastructure division, said in a statement.
