Vox Launches Linksys Phone Support

The VoX VoIP service includes call waiting, forwarding and three-way calling.

VoX Communications, a SIP-based VoIP solutions provider and wholly owned subsidiary of Pervasip, has unveiled new support for the Linksys SPA8000 small business eight-port analog telephone adapter (ATA).

The VoX VoIP service includes call waiting, forwarding, three-way calling, voicemail, caller ID and other business-class features. VoX and its wholesale customer base will work together to provide a bundle of high-quality voice and broadband services for its end-user small business customers.

"We have been developing some exciting small business products and we are now shipping eight-port ATAs to small businesses as an affordable and easy-to-use alternative to a traditional PBX phone system," VoX president and chief information officer, Mark Richards, said in a statement. "This expansion of our services into the small business arena demonstrates our resolve to broaden our footprint into business services and to add to our portfolio of products. We will continue to introduce other business products in 2008."
