Business Objects Introduces New Dashboard Tool
The tool is designed to help businesses turn complex data into dynamic, actionable information.
Business Objects, an SAP company (NYSE:SAP), has unveiled its new data presentation and dashboard tool designed to help businesses transform complex data into dynamic, actionable information. Xcelsius Engage 2008 uses Microsoft Excel as its data modeling foundation, making it accessible to anyone familiar with a spreadsheet.
Featuring a user-friendly interface, the new tool allows customers to easily access departmental and operational dashboards that deliver real-time visibility into business performance using simple visual models. Data from multiple Web services or internal business applications can be mashed up without coding.
Xcelsius Engage enables companies to create sales, marketing, finance or other departmental dashboards. A built-in function simplifies the discovery of trends and patterns in data by automatically inserting statistical calculations into the visualization at load time, and interactive geographical maps are included.
