Covad to Launch Business DSL

Covad Business DSL will support hosted apps, servers and other business functions.

 

Covad Communications Group (AMEX:DVW) has unveiled a new business-class product to add to its broadband access portfolio. Business DSL provides small and midsize businesses with a secure, reliable Internet connection, backed by support and aggressive service-level agreements.

Covad Business DSL, which is offered on a data-only dedicated line, supports hosted applications, servers and other mission-critical business functions. In addition to this product, with download speeds of up to 15 megabytes per second, Covad offers standard T1, a bonded T1 service, and fixed wireless broadband at speeds of up to 45 megabytes per second.

"We have listened to our channel partners, who told us that business customers are demanding reliable, affordable broadband connection."
