NetSuite Releases Two New Vertical Editions
NetSuite Ecommerce is aimed at retailers looking to expand beyond eBay.
NetSuite (NYSE:N) has introduced two new vertical editions designed for e-business companies. NetSuite Ecommerce Company Edition and Ecommerce+ Company Edition each feature PayPal Express Checkout integration, and "Tell a Friend" and "Log in for Price" enhanced eBay integration.
NetSuite Ecommerce is tailored to online retailers looking to expand beyond shopping cart solutions, eBay and Yahoo! stores. It features real-time inventory transparency on Web stores and enhanced e-commerce selling tools, such as Amazon.com-like automated up-sell and cross-sell recommendations. NetSuite Ecommerce+ is better suited to high-volume e-businesses requiring multiple warehouse management, serialized inventory, bar coding and labels, lot and bin management, expiration dating, auto-calculation of reorder points and preferred stock levels based on sales history.
"E-commerce businesses face unique challenges that require them to deliver a great customer experience online while having complete visibility into their operations beyond the Web store," Mini Peiris, vice president of product programs for NetSuite, said in a statement.
