Optimus Unveils Unified Communications Tool
The new platform integrates voice, IP telephony, video and instant messaging.
Optimus Solutions, a Softchoice company, has unveiled its new unified communications platform focused exclusively on streamlining communications and collaboration applications.
The new platform has the ability to integrate voice, IP telephony, video and instant messaging applications, leveraging Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO), IBM (NYSE:IBM) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) hardware, software and consulting solutions. It services not only large enterprises with call centers but also small and midsize businesses by integrating call centers and communications applications.
"There are a lot of enterprises that could benefit from a platform that provides automated call distribution, integrated voice responses and computer telephony integration, but a lot of these technologies are new to clients and certain industries," Frank Ball, business development manager and co-director of the unified communications practice of Optimus Solutions, said in a statement. "At Optimus, we bridge the gap with those three technologies to help our clients streamline operations, reduce cost and increase revenue."
