HP Launches Two New Servers
The two new ProLiant servers are designed and priced for small businesses.
HP (NYSE:HPQ) has introduced two new ProLiant servers designed and priced for small and midsize businesses. In addition, the company is offering an expanded customer relationship management portfolio, Linux-based management tools, and remote access technology.
The HP ProLiant BL260c G5 is tailored to branch offices and remote sites with small or virtualization-based environments. It supports CRM, enterprise resource planning, database applications, Web applications, file and print services, and high-performance computing. The ProLiant DL120 G5 is an affordable rack-optimized server tailored to midsize companies.
"Through extensive research and customer interaction, HP has gained valuable insight into the needs of midsize business customers," Urs Renggli, director of worldwide small and mid-market business, at HP's Technology Solutions Group, said in a statement.
