OfficeMax Offers 8x8 Business Phone System

The hosted VoIP phones features auto attendant and worldwide extension dialing.

 

8x8's (NASDAQ:EGHT) Packet8 Virtual Office business phone system is now available at more than 900 OfficeMax (NYSE:OMX) retail outlets nationwide.

8x8's hosted VoIP small business phone system is being offered to OfficeMax customers for $129.99, including a free month of service followed by a discounted monthly fee of $39.99 for an Unlimited Extension. This cost-effective user-friendly alternative to traditional PBX phone systems features an auto attendant, worldwide extension dialing, business-class voicemail, a conference bridge and ring groups.

"With the Packet8 Virtual Office solution, the upfront investment and monthly service fees are minimal and there are no unexpected maintenance charges since Packet8 hosts and manages every aspect of the service at no additional cost to subscribers," 8x8 vice president of sales and marketing, Huw Rees, said in a statement.
