MasterCard to Offer Fuel Savings
Small firms on the EasySavings program can receive rebates on gas.
MasterCard Worldwide (NYSE:MA) has introduced the latest addition to its EasySavings program for small businesses. Through the Fuelman Network, a nationwide fuel and maintenance network, the company will offer automatic fuel savings to MasterCard BusinessCard credit and signature debit cardholders enrolled in the program.
Program members will receive a one percent automatic rebate on both gas and diesel at more than 15,000 gas stations in the network, and a five percent rebate on all maintenance purchases made at the more than 1,800 participating maintenance locations nationwide.
"We recognize that small businesses are some of the hardest hit by increasing fuel costs and are proud to partner with the Fuelman Network to be the first payments company to provide small businesses with automatic savings that help alleviate this burden," Bruno Perreault, group head of small and midsize enterprises at MasterCard, said in a statement.
