Nortel Opens Small Business Sales Center
The center offers assistance for partners entering the small-business market.
Nortel (NYSE:NT) has opened its first Small Business Sales Center in North America to help cable companies resell Nortel products and services. The new center will offer partners assistance in entering the growing small business market, particularly with respect to sales, products, installation and support.
The Small Business Sales Center will provide cable companies with a trained team that can make sales calls on its behalf or offer helpdesk support for answering end customer questions. Nortel also offers implementation services that include warehousing, provisioning, configuration, installation and training. Cox Communications is the first cable reseller partner to use the center.
"Nortel understands that selling to small businesses is much more challenging than residential customers because there's no one-fit solution for every business," Valorie Walker, director of North American Inside Sales at Nortel, said in a statement.
