Sage Upgrades Accounting Tool

The new version features simplified business analysis and inventory management.

Sage Software, a division of the Sage Group, has released the latest version of its DacEasy accounting solution for small businesses. DacEasy by Sage version 16 features enhancements to simplify processes, including business analysis, reporting and inventory management.

The enhanced solution features a new Business Center Dashboard for better management of cash flow, sales, and profitability through a centralized view that offers constant visualization of key business indicators; increased product code length for greater flexibility in inventory management; and a new simplified Job and Project Tracking functionality, which allows businesses to create one or more jobs per client, as well as define revenue and expense estimates and report on the profitability for each individual job. It also provides state and federal payroll tax reports for previously closed quarters as stored images that users can reprint as needed.

"This new release further marks our commitment to meeting our DacEasy customers' needs for a solid accounting solution with updated functionality to help them continue to grow their businesses," Sam Hunter, general manager, of Sage Software'sValue Business Unit, said in a statement.
