Women Entrepreneur Blog Launched
The new site features a roster of leading women business owners.
A new blog for women entrepreneurs launched this week offers a national forum for small-business owners to exchange tips and insights on running a successful venture.
Overseen by SCORE, a Virginia-based entrepreneurial resource group, the blog features a roster of woman business leaders covering a range of small-business issues and topics.
The site's starting lineup of bloggers include Peg Corwin, a marketing chair for SCORE's Chicago branch, Peggy Duncan, an Atlanta-based SCORE counselor, Betty Otte, an entrepreneur with years of franchise experience, and Christine Banning, a marketing expert.
"SCORE appreciates the time and talent of these exceptional leaders in sharing their expertise, ideas and answers to questions,” Paul Kopelcheck, SCORE's chairman of the board, said in a statement. He said about half of the group's clients are women.
The site, which is the group's first blog to be launched nationally, will also feature a number of guest bloggers. Daria Dolans, the co-host of a nationally syndicated radio talk show “The Dolans,” will be online in July.
The SCORE Women's Success Blog is available at http://womensblog.score.org.
