New Search Engine for Shoppers
Oct. 31, 2006 -- A new search engine, which launched today, plans to focus exclusively on shopping sites, indexing over 150 million products using a proprietary algorithm that ranks search results based on current market dynamics. The beta version of TheFind.com from Mountain View, Calif.-based FatLens, Inc., searches over 500,000 online stores without relying on merchant feeds or advertising to rank its results.
Results are presented as images, not text links, and can be sorted by price, brands, or retailer.
