Operating System Backup

 

Nov. 22, 2006 -- A new application released Wednesday by Berlin-based software firm O&O allows users to backup not only their files and folders, but also their entire Windows operating system.

O&O DiskImage Professional Edition creates images of complete disks that are stored on a CD, DVD, or hard drive, and can be used to reset the computer's system to its original condition in the event of a system-wide crash, the company said.
