Single-Source Multi-Vendor Security Tool

 

Dec. 14, 2006 -- Authentium, a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based software firm, has released an application that enables businesses to manage anti-spyware, anti-virus, and content-filtering tools from multiple vendors over a single management interface, the company announced Thursday.

Extensible Service Platform for Enterprise allows users to customize their online-protection suite without the need to interface with multiple vendors, the company said.

Users can also use a single source to add programs chosen from a menu of best-of-breed security tools created by a variety of developers.
