Investment Firm to Buy American Apparel
Dec. 19, 2006 -- American Apparel, a Los Angeles-based clothing company, on Tuesday reached a $244 million deal with Endeavor, a New York investment firm that plans to take the company public.
American Apparel ranked No. 308 on the 2006 Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies with annual revenue this year of $211 million. It was the second consecutive year the company made the list.
