South Carolina Salutes Small Business
March 20, 2007 -- South Carolina's small-business leaders and advocacy groups are joining forces to present the state's fourth annual Salute to Small Business at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on April 11, organizers said Tuesday.
The event, co-sponsored by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce, the South Carolina Coalition for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and the Small Business Administration, offers a forum for business owners to meet with other entrepreneurs, state lawmakers and business leaders.
In addition, the SBA will name the state's Small Business Person of the Year.
"The fourth annual Salute to Small Business is now a fully integrated event that brings the governor and the legislature, service providers, and small business into a closer collaboration than ever before," John Lenti, chairman of the South Caroline Coalition for Small Business and Entrepreneurship, said in a statement.
