Veteran-Owned Firm Wins $5.4 Billion Fed Contract
April 12, 2007 -- GovWare, a Vienna, Va.-based IT firm, has been awarded a $5.6 billion federal contract, the largest ever granted to a service-disabled veteran small business, the company and government officials announced Thursday.
Under the seven-year contract, awarded by the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement Office, the firm will provide IT products and services for a range of federal agencies.
GovWare is one of six other service-disabled businesses expected to receive government-wide acquisition contracts.
