Midwest Small-Business Confab Set for May

 

April 17, 2007 -- The American Association of MicroBusinesses is sponsoring one of the largest small-business events in the Midwest at the Minneapolis Convention Center on May 3, organizers said this week.

This year's Small Business Expo and Conference will feature presentations by four entrepreneurial leaders, including a keynote speech by Tom Gegax, the former chairman and CEO of Tires Plus Stores. Other speakers include "Famous Dave" Anderson of Famous Dave's of America, Millard Fuller of Habitat for Humanity International, and Sue Lindgren of YESS! -- Your Extraordinary Success Strategies. Throughout the conference, small-business owners will have the opportunity to take part in workshops, as well as networking and social events.
