Fed Contracting Expo Kicks Off
As many as 10,000 vendors, purchasing agents, and other procurement decision-makers are expected to attend a federal contract expo this week in Orlando, Fla., organizers said.
Hosted by the General Services Administration, the annual three-day showcase offers networking opportunities for small-business owners with industry leaders and government contracting officials, along with a range of training sessions in various procurement and acquisition issues.
"GSA Expo 2007 provides GSA customers and industry partners a great opportunity to meet each other and see outstanding products and services from American industry," GSA administrator Lurita Doan said in a statement.
