Entrepreneurs, VCs Gather in Silicon Valley
More than 4,000 entrepreneurs, business leaders, and investors are expected to attend an annual Silicon Valley entrepreneurship convention this week in Santa Clara, Calif., organizers said this week.
TiEcon 2007, founded in 1992, included workshop and panel discussion on raising seed capital, business growth, Web 2.0, and clean technology, among other topics. This year's event, which kicked off Thursday and runs until Saturday, features 200 presentations on a range of entrepreneurial issues, with keynote speeches from eBay CEO Meg Whitman, Salesforce.com CEO Marc Benioff, and Facebook vice president Matt Cohler, among others.
On-site registration is still available for both the full conference of one-day passes at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
