Conference for Veteran-Owned Businesses
The New Mexico Department of Veterans Services will hold its third annual conference for service-disabled and veteran-owned small businesses in Albuquerque in late August, organizers announced this week.
The conference is held to promote opportunities for veteran-owned businesses, and is a chance for business owners to meet with buyers and subcontracting officers from federal agencies and large prime contractors, and to learn about contracting opportunities.
Steven Preston, head of the Small Business Administration, will be the keynote speaker at the event. The conference will take place at the Albuquerque Marriott Hotel in New Mexico on Aug. 30-31. For more information, visit www.NMVetBiz.org
