"Start-Up Speed Dating"

 

A social networking site and a biomedical firm are among the companies scheduled to present at a conference for entrepreneurs and investors in North Carolina next month, organizers announced this week.

The Opportunity Conference, a two-day event sponsored by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development, also features workshops, consulting sessions, and "Start-up Speed Dating."

Featured speakers include Richard Johnson, the former CEO of Hotjobs.com, and Richard Randall, the CEO of Trans1.
