Tech Help for Entrepreneurs
CompUSA, a Dallas-based national electronics retailer, will kick off a series of free in-store seminars this week geared toward local small and midsize businesses, company officials said.
The first seminar, set for Aug. 29, examines the topic of mobility for small businesses, providing owners with an introduction to several software applications. Others in the months ahead will take up emerging technologies for entrepreneurs, licensing, and disaster preparedness.
"Our goal is to provide complete solutions and we have a great deal of information we want to share free of charge to help these businesses succeed," Bob Sayewitz, senior director of commercial and business services at CompUSA, said in a statement.
Seminars will be held at the training centers in CompUSA stores nationwide. For more information, or to make a reservation to attend, visit www.compusabusiness.com.
