Survey: Most Americans Satisfied with Careers

 

Three out of five American workers say they are satisfied with their careers, according to a new survey.

Of more than 1,000 adults polled nationwide, 61 percent said they're very happy in their current job positions, according to SnagAJob.com, a Richmond, Va.-based job website.

The survey also found that both demographics and marital status played a role in job satisfaction. Among all respondents, 67 percent who lived in the West said they were happy with their jobs, compared to 64 percent in the Midwest and 52 percent in the Northeast. Additionally, respondents who were married tended to be happier with their jobs than those who were single, the survey found.
