HP Unveils Midsize Business Products
HP (NYSE:HPQ) recently launched a line of technology products and services targeted specifically at midsize businesses.
The highlight of the new line is a compact blade server for small technology sites, branch offices, and remote locations. Dubbed "Shorty," the HP BladeSystem c3000 enclosure operates without power, cooling or staff.
Other new products and services include the StorageWorks All-in-One SB600c Storage Blade, designed to work in the new BladeSystem as well as older models, and the Total Care Initiative, which helps businesses manage and leverage their technology investments. Also available are Midsize Business Solutions application "blueprints" that aid the integration of multiple application and data protection solutions into the new c3000 enclosure.
BladeSystem c3000 is available from $4,299 and StorageWorks All-in-One SB600c starts at $9,968.
