Business Program for Teenage Girls Kicks Off
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America last week launched its eighth annual entrepreneurship training and mentoring program for teenage girls.
Girls Going Places will include one-day entrepreneurship conferences in three U.S. cities later this year aimed at educating young women about entrepreneurship and financial independence. The conferences will feature speeches from successful local businesswomen, as well as crash prizes for teenagers who demonstrate exceptional business skills.
The conferences are scheduled for Nov. 6 in Athens, Ga., Nov. 8 in Rome, Ga., and Dec. 6 in Union, N.J. For more information visit www.girlsgoingplaces.com.
