Speakeasy to Sell Covad's ADSL2+ Broadband
Covad Communications Group (AMEX:DVW) has teamed up with Speakeasy, a division of Best Buy (NYSE:BBY) to sell Covad's ADSL2+ business-class broadband service.
Available in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C., ADSL2+ features three speed tiers -- up to 8.0 Mbps, up to 10.0, and up to 15.0.
Covad's portfolio of broadband services aimed at small and midsize businesses also includes a Bonded T1 service that combines two T1 lines, providing fast, symmetrical data speeds.
ADSL2+ will also be sold through Lightning Bolt DSL, an existing provider of Covad DSL and T1 services to small and midsize customers, and Bway.net, based in New York.
