Advanta Launches Ideablob.com

 

Advanta  has announced the beta launch of ideablob.com, a platform where small-business owners can exchange ideas to help develop and expand their ventures, as well as compete for a chance to win $10,000 in funding.

Entrepreneurs are asked to post their business ideas on ideablob.com, then users vote for the best idea each month, which wins $10,000. As such, Ideablob.com can be used as a soundboard for small-business owners who want to market test new ideas. They can also send their customers to the site to vote for their ideas and glean how well the idea might work from the user response.

The contest, open to legal residents of the U.S., begins Sept. 24 and ends March 31, 2008.
