IBM Targets SMBs With New Offerings
IBM (NYSE:IBM) launched several new software tools and resources this week designed and priced to help small and midsize businesses better manage their software and network infrastructures.
Rational Build Forge Express Edition is IBM's first software delivery technology developed specifically for small and midsize businesses. In conjunction with IBM's Rational software delivery platform, it enables users to standardize and automate end-to-end software release processes and better govern compliance implementation.
The new IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Entry Edition gives customers accurate, real-time visibility of their network infrastructures. Other new offerings include customer sitelets, featuring easy access points and live chat with IBM or local solution providers; security and compliance management tools Watchfire AppScan and Watchfire WebXM; and the Rational Team Concert, Beta 1, a collaborative portal designed to improve team productivity.
