Covad and McAfee to Offer Secure Broadband Bundle
Covad Communications (AMEX:DVW) and McAfee (NYSE:MFE) have teamed up to offer Covad small-business customers a new broadband package that includes McAfee Total Protection for Small Business Services.
McAfee Total Protection for Small Business features automatic updates, anti-virus and anti-spyware protection for desktop PCs and file servers, as well as a desktop firewall and McAfee SiteAdvisor to guard against viruses, spyware, identity thieves, phishing, unsafe browsing and hacker attacks.
The bundle includes Covad's robust portfolio of access services, including regular and bonded T1, business-class DSL, and fixed wireless broadband. It requires no additional software, and allows for easy installation and maintenance.
