Siemens Launches Fixed-Mobile Tool for SMBs
Siemens Communications this week launched the HiPath Wireless C20 Controller, geared to give small and midsize businesses greater access to fixed-mobile database convergence.
Siemens Communications, a wholly owned subsidiary of German engineering giant Siemens (NYSE:SI), introduced the HiPath Wireless C20 as the latest incarnation of its "Fixed-Mobile Convenience" brand, combining wireless voice and data transmission services. It is the first of its HiPath brand created, developed, and priced competitively for SMBs. Previous versions of the HiPath were designed only for large enterprises.
The communications company said in a release that the new controller "seamlessly integrates with virtually any wired infrastructure," enabling firms with narrower margins to utilize wireless services throughout their businesses, ramping up productivity and efficiency.
