These high-tech companies are using a number of " out-of-the-box" solutions, including:

  • Recruiting from booths at wine-tasting festivals.
  • Participating in computer news groups and chat lines on the Internet.
  • Sponsoring radio advertisements on programs frequented by engineers during drive time.
