Jen Baird

Ms. Baird is currently CEO of Accio Energy, Inc., an early stage company that is defining a new direction in wind energy generation using silent, stationary panels and charged mist instead of typical wind turbines to expand the use of renewable energy in our world. From 2005 to 2010, Ms. Baird was co-founder, President and CEO of Accuri Cytometers, developing and marketing breakthrough life science research products for research and clinical use. In 2011, Accuri was successfully sold to Becton Dickinson. Previously, Ms. Baird was a key member of the senior management team at Integrated Sensing Systems, Inc., a technology development firm focused on using micro-electromechanical systems for medical and scientific sensing applications and Vice President at Keane Consulting Group. Ms. Baird began her career in commercial banking. She received her MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, where she shared Top-of-Class honors, and a BA degree from the University of Michigan. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Hope Clinic, that provides free medical, dental, and other services to the uninsured in southeast Michigan and is CEO of Sonetics Ultrasound, Inc., an early -stage medical diagnostic ultrasound company she co-founded. She is a Springboard Enterprises alumna and contributor to "Been There, Run That."
